About Us

Jordan/Grand Songbook Music & Media is a full-service entertainment company dedicated to producing work at the intersection of music, storytelling, and strategy. Headquartered in Los Angeles, with offices in Beverly Hills and Chicago and operations in New York and Washington, D.C., the company is a joint venture between Grand Songbook Media Inc. and Jordan Entertainment LLC, bringing together decades of complementary expertise.

Musician, producer, and entrepreneur Ed Vodicka founded Grand Songbook in 2015 and continues to compose, arrange, and record, bringing an active creative voice to everything the company produces. Esteemed vocalist and trailblazer Josephine Beavers, who heads Jordan Entertainment, has spent her career at the heart of American music, from opening for the legendary Count Basie Orchestra to championing the preservation of the Great American Songbook. Together, they lead a company producing across the full spectrum of music and entertainment: audio recordings, arranging and orchestration, live concert productions, documentary films, commercials, and integrated marketing campaigns.

Recent highlights include the 2023 PBS documentary special The Musician's Green Book: An Enduring Legacy, accompanied by a cross-country touring exhibition originating at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Public Library in Washington, D.C., that continues to travel nationally. A documentary on Rock & Roll Hall of Fame drummer Earl Palmer is currently in production.
